Turchynov believes Putin attempts to cover up crimes by court’s ruling to classify Russian military losses

Secretary of National Security and Defense of Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov called the resolution of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to classify military losses of the Russian army in peacetime as another Putin’s attempt to camouflage his crimes.

NSDC website reports.

"Attempts to cover up their bloody crimes always force tyrants to ban disclosing the truth. Aggression, fear and lies became the essence of Putin’s regime. Classifying military casualties is a debasing attitude shown towards the military as cannon fodder, and the parents of fallen servicemen as if they are silent slaves," he said.

NSDC Secretary noted that the phrase "military losses in the time of peace" for Russia is nonsense, "because starting with the occupation of Crimea, Russia unstoppably wages undeclared war and loses its military."

Oleksandr Turchynov said that Russian government and propaganda have stamped "classified information" on the losses they have suffered during their aggression in Donbas, and Putin will hide Russian losses during the war in the Middle East.

"This is the essence of tyrants who fear their own people and conceal from them the truth about bloody crimes," he said stating that the bloodier a regime becomes, the more horrendous its collapse will be, "and Russia will not be an exception to the rule."
