Foreign Ministry spokesman Wojciechowski appointed new Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine

Foreign Minister of Poland Grzegorz Schetyna on behalf of the Polish president familiarized current Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Marcin Wojciechowski with a decision to appoint him the Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine.

"Polish-Ukrainian relations today are better than they have ever been, but it does not mean that they ought to be neglected in all dimensions. I wish you to do your best in this difficult and responsible task," Schetyna told Wojciechowski at the ceremony of his appointment as the Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine.

The new Ambassador will replace Henryk Litwin who has served the Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine since May 2011.

In 2011, Ukraine awarded Wojciechowski with order "For Merit" of third degree for significant personal contribution to strengthening the international authority of Ukraine, popularization of its historical heritage and modern achievements.
