One step left for Czech Republic to ratify EU-Ukraine Association Agreement
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin posted this on Twitter.
"Czech Republic President Milos Zeman signed the instrument of ratification to ratify our Association Agreement. One step left for the Czech Republic to complete the ratification process," he wrote.
As a reminder, the lower house of the Czech Parliament supported ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in September, though the Senate had ratified the document last December. The process of ratification, in particular, was blocked by the Czech Communists.
As reported, 24 countries out of 28 EU member countries completed the ratification process of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in their parliaments. The only country that has not yet begun the ratification is Greece.
