Ukraine’s territorial integrity should be renewed and established – Merkel

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
The chancellor said at a sitting of the Ukrainian-German Economic Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“We’re calling for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, in particular, regarding the withdrawal of weapons and soldiers from the relevant territories. It is important that Ukraine can resume its control on the borders. The territorial integrity of the state should be renewed and established,” Merkel stressed.
In addition, Germany backs Ukraine and is eager to provide any support in the fulfilment of the Minsk agreements, Merkel said.
