Election campaign in Ukraine nears an end

The election campaign in Ukraine is coming to an end in line with a relevant resolution by the Central Election Commission (CEC) “on ensuring the procedure of election campaign at local elections on October 25, 2015”.
“The election campaign ends at 24.00 on the last Friday on the eve of voting. The election campaigning outside the period set down by the law is prohibited,” reads the document.
According to the resolution, at 24.00 on the last Friday before elections, election campaign materials are taken away by corresponding executive local agencies and agencies of local government.
Besides, as of today (and during the next two day before election day) it is prohibited to publish and spread the results of public opinion polls connected with voting, including the parties – subjects of election process and MPs candidacies.
