Steinmeier thanks the Netherlands for investigation into MH17crash causes

Germany supports international efforts to investigate the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 crash over Ukraine in July 2014 and hopes that perpetrators will be punished.
Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier said this on Tuesday, commenting on presentation of the final report on the crash causes by the Dutch Safety Board, Ukrinform correspondent in Germany reports.
The Minister described the report "an important step towards clarifying the crash circumstances." He expressed his gratitude to the Dutch authorities for conduct of the investigation at the request of Ukraine. Steinmeier believes that the studies were conducted in unbiased and transparent way and in compliance with the rules of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
