Ukrinform
The UK Government and Parliament were sent a petition to recognize Holodomor, the Ukrainian famine of 1932-33, as an act of genocide

The petition was officially registered on the governmental website.

According to the statement, the Holodomor was engineered by the Soviet government. Seven and a half million people died of starvation over a period of one year. Twenty Five countries have currently recognised this as an act of genocide, as defined by the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide.

EU Today publisher Gary Cartwright is an author and initiator of the petition.
