Canadian charities sent humanitarian aid worth UAH 3 mln to Ukraine

The Global Medic Charitable Fund and the Ukrainian community in Toronto have sent humanitarian aid worth over UAH 3 million to Ukraine.

The Euro Maidan-Canada Organization said this to Ukrinform correspondent.

“We sent to Ukraine firefighter uniforms, hygiene kits, medicines and the special protective blast film which will protect windows at schools and hospitals from crashing into smithereens.” the organization said.

The total cost of aid is 200,000 Canadian dollars.

In addition, volunteers of the Global Fire organization will conduct trainings for the Ukrainian freighters in Mariupol.
