Poroshenko tells what cancellation of illegal elections in Donbas means

The cancellation of illegal elections in certain areas of Donbas gives the chance to hold elections there in line with the Ukrainian law and, thus, return the occupied territories to Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this in his posting on Facebook.
"The direct results of coordinated actions of Ukraine and our partners at the negotiations in New York and Paris are [the following]: the illegal elections, which threatened with the resumption of fighting and the cancelation of the Minsk agreements, have been abolished. This opens the way for Ukraine's return to Donbas via holding the elections there in line with the Ukrainian law, based on the OSCE standards, and of course, without occupational forces," read’s the report.
