Yatseniuk launches police patrolling at ‘Boryspil’ highway
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this to reporters at the Boryspil airport, Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today, we are launching the so-called highway police patrol… The first experiment on the Kyiv-Boryspil highway on patrolling the highway is taking place now,” Yatseniuk said.
According to him, the Zhytomyrska highway will be the next highway where new police patrol will work.
“The Boryspil Airport is the first airport where we are launching new Ukrainian police patrolling,” he stressed.
Moreover, new police officers will keep order at the airport terminal D. All patrol police officers can speak English.
Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky handed to Interior Minister Arsen Avakov some 85 Hyundai Sonata cars, which were earlier purchased for the much talked-about Sky Taxi of the Boryspil airport.
In addition, according to the head of government, new patrol police officers for Boryspil city and Boryspil district are being recruiting starting from today.
