Special status of Donbas in Constitution agreed in Paris – Merkel

At the "Normandy Four" summit, the parties agreed on a special status of Donbas in Ukraine's Constitution.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said this at a press conference in Paris, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
She recalled that since September 1, the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine has been mainly observed, so the parties would continue implementing the Minsk agreements.
"We discussed very complex issues. After amnesty, the law on special status will come into force, which should be mentioned in the Constitution of Ukraine, and today we have agreed on the sequence of implementing these steps," she said.
