If the agreement on withdrawal of tanks, artillery under 100mm and mortars up to 120mm is implemented, it will greatly help strengthen the ceasefire.
Deputy Chairman of the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the OSCE Alexander Hug said this at a briefing via Skype from Luhansk, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"This week, the agreements were reached in Minsk, which give reason to hope for the establishment of lasting peace in the east of Ukraine," he said.
