A special committee of the Ukrainian parliament in the near future will complete its work on drafting a bill on the state service for the second reading.

Verkhona Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman has said this, the parliament’s press service reports.

“The profile committee has intentions to adopt this law and understands the necessity of its adoption. This legislative document has undergone a lot of expert examinations and is a rather qualitative tool for building the qualitative state service, which we all need,” the speaker said.

Groysman stressed that the law would be a prerequisite for the creation of professional state service.

“These are the professional staff selection, professional trainings; these are people who do not depend on this or that political situation. This law must be approved,” the speaker said.
