KYIV, September 29 / Ukrinform./ Local government in the western city of Poznan, Wielkopolske voivodship, has agreed to provide permanent residence for 40 ethnic Poles from the southern port city of Mariupol.
Deputy mayor Jedrzej Solarski told reporters at a press conference in Poznan on Tuesday, the Ukrinform own correspondent in Poland reports.
"We expect that we will provide them with room and board for one year. We want to help them find work during this year so that they will be fully assimilated and become independent," said Solarski.
He noted resettlement of Poles from Mariupol to Poznan will be completed by the end of next December before Christmas.
