Militants attack Ukrainian army positions five times overnight

KYIV, September 29 /Ukrinform/. The combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine five times overnight.

The press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, Unian reported.

Last night, the militants were firing rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns on the Ukrainian fortified positions in the village of Zaitseve outside the town of Artemivsk.

At 20:25 Kyiv time, the occupiers started firing small arms on ATO forces in the village of Stariy Aidar in Luhansk region.

"From midnight to 06:00 on September 29, the militants were not using weapons along the demarcation line," the press center said.
