Terrorists not to take part in Normandy format talks - German Foreign Ministry

Spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry Martin Schaefer said this on Friday at the government briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The legitimate representatives of the legitimate states sit at the negotiating table and try to find ways out," Schaefer said, noting that "no one, except for Russia, has recognized the separatists as the legitimate representatives."

The diplomat reminded that a different format, the Trilateral Contact Group, had been set up for formal contacts with representatives of the separatist regions.
