NSDC doesn't confirm start of Donetsk assault

KYIV, August 4 /Ukrinform/. Security officials are now preparing for the assault on Donetsk, however the operation itself has not yet begun, Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday
"As for now we do not have official information about the assault on the city of Donetsk. Preparatory activities are underway," Lysenko said.
A reminder that the Azov and Shakhtarsk battalions on Monday launched an assault on Donetsk, Azov deputy battalion commander Ihor Mosiychuk wrote on his Facebook page.
