Ukraine’s National Bank accumulates 25 tons of gold in reserves

Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Oleh Churiy stated this at a press briefing “Managing Ukrainian international reserves”, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Gold and foreign exchange reserves in gold total about USD 1 billion: 25 tons of gold, which can be placed in a cube of 1x1x1 m," Churiy said.

According to the deputy governor, the reserves rose from $15.5 billion to $18.8 billion over the past year.
