Ukraine increases gas production by 4% in January-October 2017

In January-October 2017, Ukraine’s gas production increased by 4% compared with the same period last year and totaled 17.3 billion cubic meters, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reports.
In particular, in January-October 2017, gas production by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine grew by 2.8% and totaled 13.6 billion. Private enterprises increased gas production by 8.7% and produced 3.7 billion cubic meters over the reported period.
In addition, Ukraine’s gas imports in January-October 2017 grew by 49.9% compared with the same period last year and totaled 11.8 billion cubic meters.
