PM Groysman reminds that tomorrow social standards to be increased by 10%

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman reminds that tomorrow the amount of social standards will be raised by 10% in Ukraine.

“From tomorrow, December 1, in line with the government resolution and amendments to the legislation supported by Parliament, minimum social standards will be raised by at least 10%,” Groysman said at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, according to him, the increase concerns the living wages, minimum wages, and minimum pensions.

Groysman also noted that now the minimum wage is UAH 1,450 and tomorrow it will be raised to UAH 1,600.

He also added that the last time social standards were increased by 5% on May 1, 2016.
