Ukraine uses the potential of organic agricultural production by less than 10%, while this sector is promising for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Taras Kutovyi said this at today’s Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Ukraine has an extraordinary potential for organic production, which today is used by less than 10% of our capabilities. It could open great opportunities in the context of export potential, especially for small and medium-sized businesses," Kutovyi said.
He expressed the belief that organic production was an area where Ukrainian small and medium businesses could become successful.
