Social standards in Ukraine will be raised by 10% in December 2016 and then again by 10% in 2017, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk has said.

“Government will raise social standards by 10% in 2017. This will be additional 10% to a 10% rise that will take place in December of the current year. In general, this is a significant increase. We have done everything possible to implement the laws on civil service and judicial system and we have left maximum resources for raising salaries for teachers and doctors,” Finance Minister Danyliuk said during Government Question Hour held in Parliament today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
