Ukraine's electricity exports increased by almost 4% in January-September

Ukraine's electricity exports increased by 3.6%, or 97.4 million kilowatt-hour, compared to the same period of 2016, as confirmed by the data from the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.

“In January-September 2016, Ukraine exported 2,883.7 million kilowatt-hour of electricity, which is 97.4 million kilowatt-hour, or 3.6%, more than that recorded for the same period of 2015,” the ministry's press service said.

According to the report, a considerable increase in electricity exports was recorded in September 2016.

“In September 2016, electricity exports increased by 224.6 million kilowatt-hour, or 14%, compared to the same period of 2015,” the report states.
