Vice PM Zubko: Utility companies to be ready for new heating season by October 1

Public utility companies will be 100% ready for the new heating season by October 1, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko has stated.
"One of my responsibilities is to ensure the preparation of housing and utility services of the country for heating season. I assure you that public utility companies will be 100% ready for the heating season by October 1,” the vice prime minister stressed.
He also paid special attention to the situation with preparations for the winter period in the territories of Donbas.
“We have held a meeting in Kramatorsk, where mayors of all cities of Donetsk region, Avdiivka [city] as well, were present. People are getting ready; they understand how to prepare the housing complex, how to prepare social facilities [for the new heating season]. There are no problems there,” Zubko said.
