In Ukraine, the level of social standards will increase by 10% from December 1, 2016.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this to reporters in Berezan town in Kyiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We are raising social standards from December 1, 2016. We will increase the minimum pension and the minimum wage by 10%. We will raise social standards by 10% more from January 1, 2017," Groysman said.

At the same time, he noted that he was not satisfied with the pace. "But I do know that this is only the beginning that will help improve living standards of Ukrainian citizens, but it should be related to a real development of the national economy," the Prime Minister added.
