Poroshenko: IMF tranche is green light for investors

The President said this, opening the plenary session of the 13th YES Annual Meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The day before yesterday, the IMF Executive Board made a decision to grant Ukraine the next tranche of financial assistance under the program of cooperation with our state. It is an international quality standard of recognition of the effective work of Ukrainian authorities on the path of reform and a green light for the investors," the President said.

He added that Ukraine was successfully cooperating with the IMF, and the third tranche was a solid proof showing that the international community "stands side by side with Ukraine and supports the important reforms and macroeconomic growth in these difficult times."
