Slovakia ready to facilitate maximum reverse gas supplies to Ukraine
The agreement was reached during the meeting of Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico in Poland, the Government portal reports.
"We are absolutely interested in increasing cooperation, in particular in the energy sector, in the gas transit and production," Groysman said.
He outlined the main priorities of deepening cooperation with Slovakia, including the development of joint infrastructure projects, Ukrainian customs reform, particularly the formation of joint databases, development of projects for border crossing, as well as attraction of the Slovak businesses to Ukraine.
In turn, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico assured of the readiness of the Government of Slovakia to assist in increasing the volume of gas reverse flow to Ukraine to the maximum.
