5% of Ukrainian GDP to be spent on security bloc next year

The draft state budget of Ukraine for 2017 will stipulate the expenditure for the security bloc in the size it is provided for this year – at the level of 5% of GDP.

Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk said this on the air of Channel 5.

"In 2017, we have the same priority approach. 5% of GDP are allocated for the security bloc, 3% of GDP are allocated for the defence" the Minister said.

Danylyuk noted that these costs are estimated at UAH 129 billion.
