Ukraine stores over 10 bcm of natural gas in underground storage facilities

Ukraine pumped 1 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas into the Ukrainian underground storage facilities in July and reached the level of 10.7 bcm of gas as of August 1, according to PJSC Ukrtransgaz's, the Ukrainian operator of the gas transportation system.
“The results for July: we pumped 1 bcm,” Maksym Biliavsky, the head of Ukrtransgaz's press service wrote on Facebook.
According to the Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), at present 10.666 bcm of natural gas is stored in the Ukrainian underground storage facilities.
