Ukraine may resume gas talks with Russia

Ukraine hopes to resume talks with Russia on price and possibility to resume Russian gas supplies within the framework of the trilateral format with the participation of the European Commission.
CEO of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev said this on the air of Ukrainian Channel 5 on Wednesday evening.
"This issue was raised at the recent talks of the Ukrainian Prime Minister with Vice President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič. We hope to return to the format of trilateral negotiations with Russians, which could have some result," he said.
Kobolev reminded that Ukraine currently did not import gas from Russia because of the lack of agreements with Gazprom on signing of an additional agreement to the gas supply contract.
