Nearly 90,000 people working in IT industry in Ukraine today - Shymkiv

Ukraine has almost 90,000 IT professionals and thousands of companies are providing services in the digital sector at the moment, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Dmytro Shymkiv has told a forum on digital economy, Ukrinform has reported.
"Ukraine has huge potential: we have more than 90,000 IT professionals, more than one thousand companies are providing IT services", he noted.
In addition, he said that almost one hundred multinational companies are working on scientific development and research, including in the IT-sphere in Ukraine.
At the same time Shymkiv noted the importance of our country entering in digital community which is shared with the European Union.
