Poroshenko calls on Azerbaijani PM to use potential of Ukrainian companies for development of Azerbaijan infrastructure

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this at the meeting with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, the press service of the Ukrainian Head of State reports.

"The Head of State also suggested actively using the potential of the Ukrainian companies to implement a number of infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan," the statement reads.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the economic field, namely implementation of the joint projects in energy, transport and agricultural sectors.

Special attention was paid to transportation of the Azerbaijani energy resources into the territory of the EU through Ukraine. In this context, Poroshenko stressed that Ukraine possessed the appropriate technological capacity for the effective implementation of this project.
