Officials claim price for natural gas sold to Ukrainians second lowest in Europe

The Ministry of Social Policy has published the data which demonstrate the final price of natural gas sold to Ukrainian households is said to be one of the lowest in Europe, according to the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.
"The end retail price of natural gas paid by Ukrainian households remains one of the lowest in Europe, although our country isn’t a net exporter of natural gas," the report noted.
According to the charts, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas for Ukraine amounts to $257.
The highest natural gas prices are recorded in Sweden - $1372 dollars, Portugal - $1154 and Spain - $1089.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Social Policy noted the only country in which the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas is lower than in Ukraine is Belarus -$146.
