Ukrinform
After signing the agreement on free trade area between Canada and Ukraine, Kyiv intends to continue liberalization of bilateral economic relations.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko said this to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"It is clear that this free trade agreement is not the end point," Shevchenko commented on the possibility of expanding the current agreement.

However, he said that after signing the agreement in Kyiv in July, two countries will still need to implement it.

He added that the creation of the free trade area between Canada and Ukraine demonstrated the willingness of both countries to enhance cooperation in various fields.
