First Vice Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv has denied reports that a new agreement on cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been signed.

Kubiv was speaking at a meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament's Agenda-Setting Council on Monday, May 30, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"This is not a signed agreement, but these are preliminary conditions of work with the IMF.  A great deal of work has been done to date by the Government, and it is continuing at present, we involve the appropriate MPs and experts,” Kubiv said.

However, he stressed that in its activities the Government will continue to proceed from the "single document", the parliamentary coalition agreement signed by five factions of the former coalition back in the autumn of 2014.
