Justice Ministry de-monopolized registration of property and business
First Deputy Justice Minister Natalia Sevostianova said this at a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I’m ready to report that the reform on decentralization and de-monopolization of powers in the sphere of state registration of rights to real estate and business has been successfully completed. This reform had been implemented during one year, but from May 1 of the current year the Justice Ministry and the territorial bodies of justice do not fulfill the functions regarding the registration of property and business,” Sevostianova said.
According to her, this reform, first of all, helped to wreck the monopoly that is always associated with corruption. The reform also promotes the accessibility and expands a number of outlets around the country where people can register property and businesses.
