Ukraine consumed 24 bcm of gas in 2015/2016 heating season

Ukraine consumed 24 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas over the 2015-2016 heating season.

Head of the PR department at PJSC Ukrtransgaz Maksym Biliavsky wrote this on Facebook.

According to him, 24 bcm of gas was consumed by the Ukrainian population, 11.8 bcm was produced, 8.6 bcm of gas was extracted from gas storages, and 4.9 bcm was imported.

In addition, Biliavsky said that the Ukrtransgaz staff fulfilled all the commitments on the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to the consumers of Ukraine and Europe.
