Crimea is record holder in inflation in Russia

The inflation rate in occupied Crimea turned out to be the highest in Russia – 26.4%. Apart from the peninsula, the inflation rate in Russia could have totaled 12.7.
This is stated in the monitoring report on the annual social and economic development in Russia over 2015, the text of which has been posted on the website of Russia’s Economic Development Ministry
“There is a rise in prices in the Crimean Federal District, taking into account the year 2015, it totaled 26.4% over a year. Apart from the Crimean Federal District, the inflation rate in Russia could have totaled 12.7%,” according to the monitoring report.
