Revenues to budget from small and medium-sized businesses grew by one third - President

Revenues to the budget from small and medium-sized businesses have increased by almost 32%.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated in the course of introduction of a new chairman of Kyiv Regional State Administration, Maksym Melnychuk on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“From the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in 2015, revenues to the budget grew by 31.8%,” Poroshenko said.

According to him, entrepreneurs, working under the simplified tax system, transferred to the budget by 50.8% more funds than in 2014.

“These showings could be a very good illustration of efficient decentralization,” he added.

The head of state also noted that for the first time over many years, the budget has additional UAH 40 million for purchasing equipment to diagnose and treat oncological diseases, another UAH 23 million for providing a regional hospital with modern diagnostic equipment, and over UAH 12 million for buying new school buses.
