Yatsenyuk expects further drop in gas prices in first quarter of 2016

He said at a meeting of the Export Promotion Council on Thursday, December 10, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“As to the energy, I believe we have done a lot. This means that the price environment changed and oil prices dropped, which influenced the prices for natural gas,” he stressed.

Yatsenyuk also noted that Ukraine managed “to get rid of a gas addiction titled Russian Gazprom”.

“I expect a further drop in prices in the first quarter of the next year,” he added.
