Russia not expect Ukraine to resume energy supplies to Crimea

Russian Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak has said that Russia doesn’t expect Ukraine will resume energy supplies to Crimea, the Kommersant reports.
“At present, we have no clear picture of how our further cooperation with the Ukrainian energy system will look like. That’s why, we consider this energy doesn’t exist, and rely on our own resources," Novak said.
The Russian minister also informed that representatives of the Crimean energy system had finished preparations of the Crimean infrastructure for the launch of energy bridge from Russia's Krasnodar region to the peninsula, the Kommersant reported.
As a reminder, on November 20, pylons of power lines delivering electricity to Crimea were blown up in Kherson region. On November 22, Crimea was fully cut off from the Ukrainian energy. The emergency state was announced.
