Odesa Port Plant to terminate gas contract with Antra GmbH

Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Ihor Bilous told a briefing on "Privatization of Odesa Port Plant as viewed by foreign consultants, risks and ways to minimize them", Ukrinform reports.

"I have preliminary information that the contract will be terminated. Once this is done, we will inform the public about it," said Bilous.

Earlier, governor of the Odesa region Mikheil Saakashvili said that the contract facilitates corruption and greatly damages the budget. He noted preliminary estimates of damages reaches $90 million a year.
