Energy bridge to Crimea not works – Russia’s Energy Ministry
This is reported by the Crimea. Realities portal.
"The Energy Ministry of Russia states that electricity is not supplied to Crimea through the energy bridge from Kuban. The Ministry’s report of November 27 indicates that the information on the supply of 22 mW to the peninsula from Russia is not true," reads the statement.
As reported, Crimea was disconnected from the power grid of Ukraine on November 22 as a result of undermining the pylons in Kherson region. In the evening on November 24, the Ukraine’s Ukrenergo state-run energy company reported that one of the pylons had been repaired but the blockade activists did not let the workers resume electricity supplies to the peninsula.
November 25, Russian president Putin ordered the Energy Ministry to put into operation the so-called "energy bridge", the power line from the Krasnodar region, which is being laid on the bottom of the Kerch Strait, till December 20, 2015.
