Yatsenyuk orders to stop buying gas from Russia

The Prime Minister said this at the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Stop buying Russian gas. They’ve got all wrong. We do not buy their gas, not they stop supplying gas to us," the Head of Government said.

According to him, Ukraine has received more favorable price offers from the European partners.

At the same time, the Prime Minister stressed that the energy efficiency was the only way to make Ukraine energy independent in ten years. He noted that the Government of Ukraine had reduced gas consumption by 20%.
