Yatsenyuk says Ukraine will respond the same way to Russian bans

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at an emergency meeting of the government, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I would like to note that Russian threats to introduce embargo on Ukrainian goods on January 1 will have a similar respond from the Ukrainian government. There will be the same Ukrainian respond to introduce embargo against Russia to every Russian decision to introduce an embargo against Ukraine," Yatsenyuk said.

As a reminder, last week the Russian government decided to impose food embargo against Ukraine starting from January 1. At present, Russia has already introduced some trade restrictions against Ukraine.

Ukrainian Prime Minister said that Ukraine would incur $600 million losses, if Russia imposed a ban on its food products.
