More than third of Kyiv residential houses connected to central heating

Kyivenergo PJSC reports on October 12, Kyivenergo company has connected to the centralized heating 3,288 residential properties that represent 34.2% of the total number.

The utility provider has also connected 450 kindergartens, accounting for 86% of the total, along with 161 schools (35.1%) and 169 hospitals (54%)," a statement says.

According to the company, the situation looks better with connection of houses to the heating system in Holoseyevsky district where already 46.9% of residential properties are centrally heated. The worst situation i recordered in Darnytsky city district where only 16% of houses are centrally heated.

It is noted that in the Shevchenkivsky district the heating system connected to 39.6% of houses, in the Podilsky district - 37.8%, in the Obolonsky district - 37.6%, the Svyatoshinsky - 35.3%, the Solomensky - 32.5%, in the Dniprovsky district - 31.8%, in the Pechersky - 27.9%, in the Desnyanskiy - 26.9% of houses are heated.
