Ukraine, Kazakhstan sign "Roadmap" for development of bilateral relations

The action plan for developing the Ukrainian-Kazakh relations in 2015 - 2017 was signed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities Services of Ukraine, Chairman of the Ukrainian side of the Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Kazakh commission on economic cooperation Hennady Zubko and First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan side of the Commission Bakitzhan Sagintayev. The signing ceremony was held in the capital city of Astana within the framework of the official visit of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Parties have identified measures as to cooperation in trade and economic relations, oil and energy sectors, agriculture, transport, manufacturing industry, space industry.

Ukraine and Kazakhstan implement the accord on the establishment of the Ukrainian-Kazakh Business Council and enforce regular exchange of information between the chambers of commerce of both countries.

Ukraine and Kazakhstan will assess the possibilities of Kazakh oil supplies to Ukraine and its transit through the territory of Ukraine via its pipelines.
