Czech Republic gives Ukraine 2 mln euros for humanitarian aid

Government of the Czech Republic will provide Ukraine with 2 million euros for humanitarian needs before the end of 2106.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Ivan Pochuh said this during the press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"By the end of 2016, Ukraine is planned to receive about 50 million Czech crowns, which amount to about 2 million euros," he said.

According to him, the Czech Republic has been helping Ukraine since the Revolution of Honor by providing funds for the solution of humanitarian issues. In total, during the period of 2014-15, the Czech Republic has allocated Ukraine more than 100 million crowns, which is about 4 million euros.
