Ukraine, Poland enhance cooperation in defense sphere

The General Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on Cooperation in Defense Sphere has been signed following the negotiations of delegations headed by President Petro Poroshenko and President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
The document has been signed by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and Minister of National Defense of Poland Antoni Macierewicz, the press service of the Head of State reported.
The General Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on Cooperation in Defense Sphere has been elaborated under the Law of Ukraine on International Treaties of Ukraine pursuant to the initiative of the Polish side.
The purpose of the document is to create legal framework for the development of cooperation between the parties in defense sphere on the principles of reciprocity.
