Iryna Gerashchenko: Militants confirm whereabouts of captives in Donetsk and Luhansk

The representatives of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions confirmed the whereabouts of 42 Ukrainian captives in Donetsk and of another 5 captives in Luhansk at the meeting in Minsk on Friday, August 26.
First Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukraine's representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group Iryna Gerashchenko posted this on her Facebook page.
"Representatives of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions confirmed they held 47 captives: 42 people in Donetsk and 5 people in Luhansk. We literally forced them to tell where our compatriots are held," Gerashchenko said.
She added that the captives were held exactly where they had been recently visited by the UN mission on Human Rights.
